1) Enjoy kitesurfing
Kite surfing is not just an amazing water sport, but it is also a great way to spend time with friends and family. It is much safer than parasailing or jet skiing because you are actually floating on water rather than flying above it. You can go kite surfing at any age as long as you are strong enough and able to swim!
2) Try parasailing
Parasailing is one of many incredible water sports you can do at Candolim beach. This fun activity will let you get a bird’s-eye view of your surroundings, including neighboring beaches and mountains. If parasailing doesn’t sound up your alley, check out other water sports like snorkeling or sea kayaking. No matter what you choose, you’re sure to have a memorable experience!

Whether you want a relaxing cruise or an adrenaline-fueled ride, boating is one of those water sports that can be enjoyed by all ages. You can rent a boat from Candolim beach and navigate yourself through its mangroves, waves and glistening sea. There are many boating activities available on offer; here are some of them: Sailing, Parasailing, Snorkeling, Scuba Diving. Water Skiing etc.
4) Try jetskiing
Jet skis are motorized watercrafts that let you get to places quickly. There’s an abundance of water sports available along India’s coasts, such as kite surfing, parasailing and even windsurfing. But one of our personal favorites is jet skiing! You can ride a jetski for about 2 hours after paying just ₹500 (around $7). Just remember that every activity comes with its own set of risks—you have been warned!
5) Go snorkeling
Snorkeling is a great way to explore our beautiful oceans without scuba gear. If you’re worried about not being able to breathe underwater, never fear—the snorkel has been around for hundreds of years and can be considered one of humanity’s best inventions. To do it right, all you need is some basic gear (mask, fins, snorkel), water-friendly clothing and an adventurous spirit!
6) Explore Underwater World at Reis Magos Fort
With modern water sports and water sports accessories available, experiencing the underwater world has become so much easier. Snorkeling is a popular water sport enjoyed by both adults and children alike. The state-of-the-art snorkeling equipment offered at Reis Magos Fort makes it possible for people of all ages to experience a different world right beneath their feet. As many as 6 divers can be accommodated at any given time, allowing you to enjoy snorkeling with your family or friends.
7) Soak at Chogm, Dona Paula and Cavelossim Beaches
Go for a swim at any of these famous beaches that are located on Calangute-Baga Road. If you want your session to be private, you can ask at one of these beach shacks if they have an extra shack. A walk down along these three beautiful beaches will take you past some seafood joints and beach shacks where you can freshen up before continuing your evening! Here’s what all can do
8) Go Windsurfing on Vagator Beach
Vagator’s wide, shallow lagoon attracts kite surfers with its strong breezes and flat water. Head over on a weekend afternoon or early evening, rent a board, and join up with other windsurfers. The best time of year is from December through March; Vagator also has world-class facilities if you plan on spending more than a few hours on your board.
9) Try deep sea fishing from Chicalim or Benaulim Village
For those seeking a quieter, more isolated fishing experience, you can get your equipment and rent a boat and head out into the sea. You can fish at your leisure and if you’re lucky, you may even be able to reel in a prized catch or two. If you want to leave with some of what was swimming beneath you, there are numerous spots nearby where you can purchase fresh seafood from fishmongers for cheap.
10) Have fun on a dolphin watch tour
Dolphin-watching tours offer a great chance for an up-close encounter with some of our planet’s most beautiful creatures. Getting up close and personal is not only possible, but also encouraged! Not all dolphin watch tours are created equal, though. Some companies use questionable practices that treat dolphins like animals rather than wild (and intelligent) animals. The good news? Dolphin tourism can be better—and it is.
